Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds onions salt curry leaves green chillies ginger garlic paste turmeric powder and saute it for 30 seconds. Peel cut the snake gourd into thin half rounds and remove the inner seeds. Now take the grinding ingredients in a mixer and blend it to a smooth puree.

Take washed moong dal in a sauce pan. When cumin seeds turn brown. Pressure cook chana dal along with turmeric powder sliced onion green chillies tomatoes and salt till 3 whistle in low flame.

Heat oil in a pan and add the mustard seeds urad dal allow it to crackle. Serve hot garnished with coriander. Heat the oil in a small pan add the snake gourd seeds and saute till they turn soft.

You can serve this recipe with Rice or Chapati. Step 02 Once the chana dal is half done add chopped snake gourd chilli powder turmeric powder and pressure cook till 2-3 whistle. Soak chana dal for 30 minutes.

Once dhal is cooked halfway add sliced snake gourd. Wash ad chop snake gourd into small pieces.
